Is SPECS Intelligence available to everyone?
Not yet. Sign up to be notified about early access, or try a light preview now in the SPECS iOS app. SPECS Intelligence is launching in the U.S. first, on iOS and Mac.
Do I need the SPECS AR Glasses to use this?
No. You can get started on devices you already own, including iPhone and Mac. SPECS AR Glasses bring Intelligence into the world around you, but they aren’t required to get started.
Can SPECS Intelligence take actions or send messages without my approval?
No. SPECS can propose, prepare, draft, and pull things together for you, but you decide before an action, like sending a message, is taken.
Where does my data live?
Your data is encrypted and stored securely. SPECS’ secure services power features like search, summaries, and drafting, while meeting audio is transcribed directly on your device. You can delete your data at any time in Settings.
Is my personal data used to train AI models?
No. Your personal data is used to personalize SPECS Intelligence for you, not to train AI models.
How is this different from ChatGPT, Claude, or other Chatbots?
Unlike most AI assistants that wait for you to prompt it, SPECS Intelligence is designed to be proactive. By getting to know you and your life, it can help before you have to ask. You can still chat with SPECS Intelligence directly, but conversation is only one part of the experience.
