Thermal Desorption Spectrometers TDS 40A1
The TDS 40A1
is a set of components including Residual Gas Analyzer (e.g. RGA100, RGA200,
RGA300), temperature and process controller (e.g. EUROTHERM 2408) and special
shaped end piece to give the highest possible response for sample surface. The
TDS is delivered with computer software TDS. It is dedicated for controlling
and programming temperature during experiment.
Applications:
- The TDS 40A1 is designed
for TPD (Temperature Programmed Desorption) applications also known as TDS
(Thermal Desorption Spectroscopy) involves heating a sample while contained
in a vacuum and simultaneously detecting the residual gas in the vacuum by
means of a mass analyzer. As the temperature rises, certain absorbed species
will have enough energy to come off the surface and after that they are detected
as a rise in pressure for a certain mass.
